Tell us a little about your business. – For six decades, General Fire and Safety has been a consistent partner in safeguarding businesses with expertise in an array of fire protection services. From Fire Sprinkler and Fire Alarm systems to specialized Fire Suppression including Restaurant Ansul Systems, Clean Agent Fire Suppression and Portable Fire Extinguishers, we continue to provide our clients fire protection solutions. How did you get started in the business? – A close friend who worked as a supervisor for fire alarm installations approached me with an intriguing opportunity. He proposed venturing into the fire safety industry, emphasizing the chance to contribute to keeping businesses secure and protected.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – Gaining knowledge from challenges and setbacks, utilizing them as steppingstones for personal and professional growth.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – Professionally, my most significant accomplishment has been contributing to the establishment of General Fire as a compassionate and reliable fire safety company within our local community.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – I find joy in either watching my three boys participate in their extracurricular activities or engaging in active pursuits myself.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – Something interesting that people generally don’t know about me is that I am very artistic. I really enjoy painting acrylic as well as air brushing. Something unique is that I can design and make wedding cakes. It’s a hobby I picked up from my mother when I was young.

Who inspires you? – People who’ve faced severe adversity yet persisted, refusing to surrender and ultimately triumphed by conquering their challenges.

What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – “Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising every time we fail.” – Confucius.

If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Authentic.

If you could have a super power, what would it be? – Precognition: The ability to foresee events or perceive information about the future, aiding in strategic planning and decision-making.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – Sprinting. It’s not something that I’ve had to use yet in the fire safety industry and hopefully never will.

Which talent would you most like to have? – Creative writing. Being able to put words on paper in a way to give them meaning and power.

If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – Health and Nutrition Coaching: I’m deeply passionate about embodying and teaching a healthy lifestyle, finding immense fulfillment in helping others overcome health obstacles they might face.
