Tabitha, your answer for Elder Care, is pleased to invite the community to several grief support opportunities during the holidays, all facilitated by Tabitha Hospice.

GriefShare, a 13-week, Christian-centered support group, will be offered at two locations beginning in November. Monday evening sessions from 5:30-7 p.m. will be offered weekly beginning Nov. 11 at First Christian Church (430 S. 16th St.), and Wednesday morning sessions from 10-11:30 a.m. will be offered weekly beginning Nov. 13 at Sheridan Lutheran Church (6955 Old Cheney Road).  To RSVP for any of Tabitha Hospice’s grief support groups or for more details, contact bereavement coordinator Caitlin Mason at (402) 486-8506.

Tabitha Hospice also will host memorial services in Lincoln during the holiday season. All those mourning a loss are invited to come and experience healing, celebrate the life of a loved one and share in the support of the community. Bereavement through the Holidays will be held Thursday, Nov. 7 at 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Winter Solace will take place Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 6 p.m.  All services will be hosted by Tabitha Hospice at Tabitha’s main campus chapel (4720 Randolph St.). A reception will follow each service, and no RSVP is necessary.
