Last Month Recap

In October, our group got together at Dammi Dammi for our monthly Friends4Lunch networking event. We didn’t realize it at the time, but this would be our last time dining at this wonderful, family owned establishment as they had to make the tough decision to close their doors. It’s with heavy hearts we share this news because Dammi Dammi was truly a special place that served a delicious Mediterranean-inspired menu. We wish all the best for father-son duo, Pat and Andy Lane, and hope to see their love for bringing top-notch cuisine to Lincoln continue. In addition to Friends4Lunch, we also had a little fiesta of our own at Tipsy Tina’s for Friends4Drinks. We enjoyed their yummy drink menu and wide variety of tequila choices. Thank you to everyone who joined us for these events!

Friends4Lunch at Carmela’s Bistro on November 9, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Please join us at Carmela’s Bistro & Wine Bar on Wednesday, November 9, from 11:30 a.m. to about 1 p.m. for Friends4Lunch this month! This will be the first time Strictly Business has hosted an event at Carmela’s, and we couldn’t be more excited. This locally owned restaurant creates chef-inspired American cuisine. Located at 4141 Pioneer Woods Dr., Carmela’s is known for their cozy and sophisticated ambiance and mouthwatering menu, in addition to their vast selection of wine. Make sure you put this one on your calendar!

Friends4Drinks at Copper Kettle on November 18, 4:30-6:30 p.m. Copper Kettle Mule Bar & Eatery is a fan-favorite destination for cocktails and nibbles downtown, so we’re thrilled to be gathering their again this month on Friday, November 18, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for our monthly Friends4Drinks afterhour networking event. Not only Copper Kettle have a delicious range of Moscow mules and other cocktails, they also have an impressive bites menu. You’ll have to wash down a few tacos while you’re there, or maybe some Kettle Nachos. You won’t be disappointed (but we will be if you don’t join us!). As always, these events are free and open to anyone in the Lincoln business community—you just pay for what you order.

RSVP is encouraged for these events. Please let the Strictly Business team know if you plan to attend by calling (402) 466-3330, emailing editor@strictlybusinessomaha.com, or marking yourself as “Going” on the Facebook event pages.
