This month, I’m excited to announce that Strictly Business is rolling out something brand new—a monthly IN THE ISSUE email blast (strictly-business.com/in-the-issue-email-blast) which is designed to break down each issue of Strictly Business in a clean, concise, and easy-to-digest digital format. This will allow our vast readership to have more accessibility to the magazine and our advertisers will get even more exposure…which means more value! This is an awesome development for Strictly Business as we continue to be a prominent news source and advertising partner in the local marketplace.

Our goal is to get in front of even more people, especially since we are living in a very digital age. A lot of working men and women are frequently on-the-go, but they’re never too far from a phone, tablet, or laptop/desktop computer. Print is still the true source of our strength and effectiveness, but an email blast that highlights key stories and news items will generate even more attention around all the editorial we publish for our clients each month.

Starting this month, anyone and everyone will be able to sign up to receive these monthly IN THE ISSUE emails—and we promise there will only be ONE EMAIL sent out to this list at the beginning of each month. We’re not here to spam your already-full inboxes! These blasts will be full of valuable and relevant information. You can find the signup form on our website (strictly-business.com) on the main drop-down menu or on the right sidebar of our homepage. We will also share the signup form on our Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.

This new monthly IN THE ISSUE email blast also opens up the door to a new advertising opportunity for local businesses and organizations! We are selling digital ad space on these email blasts. Our Lincoln subscription list is already at about 4,000—and we expect that number to grow exponentially as we promote the signup form. The ad space is available first come, first serve at a very low, affordable rate since we are still perfecting and gauging the marketing power of this strategy. In addition to ad space, our clients also have the option to upgrade their press release to be showcased as a Featured News piece on the email blast.
