Western National Bank (bit.ly/chasesdrivetosurvive2026) is excited to be hosting the 4th Annual Chase’s Drive to Survive Blood Drive this fall along with the Lavelle Family.
Nebraska Community Blood Bank will have a bus at the Lincoln Branch (5931 S 58th St. G, Lincoln, NE 68516) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13th and two more buses downtown outside of the Hudl HQ (600 P Street, Lincoln, NE 68508) to allow convenience for people in other areas of Lincoln and surrounding areas.
This is an exciting event for the community to support Western National Bank. The drive honors Chase Lavelle, son of Vice President, David Lavelle and grandson of CEO, Brian Lavelle. When Chase was 4-months old he was admitted to Children’s Hospital of Omaha with E. coli poisoning and suffered complete kidney failure. Blood transfusions made a tremendous impact on his ability to fight his battle. He is now a healthy 6-year-old that loves to keep up with his brothers and baby sister.
