At the end of 2021, the owner of Blush Bridal Boutique, Emmy Gorman, purchased a store-front in Hickman, just a quick 20-minute drive from their Lincoln store. Plans were made, renovations were completed, new furniture bought, so many gowns ordered, and so much excitement was had by the whole Blush team as they introduced their new sister store, Refined Bridal Co. When asked where the idea for Refined came from, Emmy replied, “Blush as a company is always looking for ways to better serve more brides in the Midwest. Post-pandemic, we have seen a greater need for a store that can cater to brides getting married more quickly than the traditional 9-12 month engagement window. We saw an opportunity to better serve these brides with the concept of Refined Bridal Co., where we have 200 in stock dresses that range in sizes 4-30 for brides to take home with them that day. No waiting, no stress, ready to get married!”
Refined Bridal Co. officially opened on June 3 in a beautiful space that is welcoming and charming. Refined will be led by expert stylist, Jess Unruh, who has 15 years of experience in the bridal industry. Jess will meet with brides in 90-minute appointments to help them find the gown of their dreams, and take it home with them the same day.
