Choices Treatment Center to Offer Confidential Assistance for Gambling Awareness Month

Choices Treatment Center (www.ChoicesTreatmentCenter.com) is educating the public on the free, confidential services they offer for those struggling with gambling addiction. Particularly during the month of March, which is Gambling Awareness Month, Choices Treatment Center is calling for any who have a gambling problem to reach out for help and for friends and family members to become aware of the signs that their loved one may be struggling. The Nebraska Gamblers Assistance Program (GAP) has certified gambling counselors who provide free assessments and treatment to gamblers and their family members.

Signs of a gambling problem include: lying to loved ones about gambling activity, deterioration of work performance, trouble concentrating, missing deadlines and important responsibilities, and worrying about mounting debts and their inability to pay them. Choices Treatment Center is certified with GAP and provides a confidential 24/7 helpline at (402) 476-2300. The Nebraska GAP helpline is also available at (833) 238-6837, and the national helpline at (800) 522-4700. Help is just a phone call away!
