Eastmont Kicks Off $50M Redevelopment and Expansion Project with Ribbon Cutting

Eastmont (www.eastmontliving.com) recently announced a significant renovation and expansion project at their O Street Campus, in partnership with Transforming Age, the nonprofit organization that Eastmont affiliated with in 2017. To celebrate this news and share design plans with the community, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was hosted with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce on June 12. With the goal of creating a sustainable community for the residents of today and in the future, the $50-million redevelopment project will add indoor and outdoor amenities and expand the campus featuring 43 new apartment homes and a connection between the existing towers.

The expansion will add several new amenities to the Eastmont community, including a 200-seat performing arts center with multifunctional seating and multiuse chapel. A wellness center with indoor pool, hot tub, aerobics studio, and spa will provide residents with an inspiring and state-of-the-art space to pursue their wellness goals. A brand new lobby will be added, centered around a magnificent fireplace. Residents will also enjoy an added bistro, outdoor meditation space, library, top-floor lounge, and landscaped courtyards with raised gardening beds and fire pits. The redevelopment will bring 12 memory care suites to serve the growing needs of older adults affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.
