Eastmont Towers Joins Forces With Transforming Age

Eastmont Towers in Lincoln, NE recently announced its affiliation with Transforming Age a Bellevue, Washington based not-for-profit organization with expertise in senior housing, business services, consumer services, technology, and philanthropy. The affiliation will help both organizations enhance their ability to grow their collective impact and transform the perception of age.

As the not-for-profit senior living industry continues to evolve in order to adapt to the changing needs of an aging population, including a growing influx of baby boomers who have a different idea of aging than their parents, mergers and affiliations in the industry are becoming increasingly common.

Founded in 1956, Transforming Age operates 11 communities in the Seattle and Minneapolis metropolitan areas and has a proven history of partnering with other senior service organizations. Like previous affiliations, Eastmont will retain its name, its separate 501 c (3) distinction, while allowing it to maintain its rich culture, history, and mission. Founded in 1965, Eastmont is a faith based, comprehensive senior lifestyle community which offers independent living, assisted living, skilled rehabilitation, long term and end-of-life care.

The affiliation comes at a time when Eastmont is planning to expand its services with an additional community, Prairie Ridge by Eastmont – a contemporary senior living campus. The new community is scheduled to open in 2021 and will include access to a wide range of senior housing and service options.
