First National Bank Employees Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity

A group of First National Bank (www.fnbo.com) employees recently volunteered with Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln. The Team Build Day took place on August 27, during which a total of 17 employees assisted Habitat staff with installing siding and caulking for a home that is currently under construction. The Team Build provided the First National Bank employees with a valuable team-building experience, along with the opportunity to give back to the Lincoln community.

“We’re excited to have the opportunity to work with Habitat of Humanity in volunteering a day of work,” said Rory Bowen, vice president of commercial banking at First National Bank. “We know that there are several ways to help people in need, which allowed us to provide our time and talent in helping build this home. We know that our work will support one of our community members in lifting them up and assist in providing stable housing, which we are grateful that we got to aid in making this dream come true. Strong partnerships build strong communities.”
