FNBO (First National Bank of Omaha) (fnbo.com/agribusiness) is investing in the future of agriculture by supporting Future Farmers of America (FFA) with donations in Nebraska, Colorado, Illinois, South Dakota and Wyoming, announced Christina Kahler, Managing Director, Marketing and Philanthropy. FNBO’s contributions are part of its broader efforts to provide positive educational experiences for students enrolled in agricultural education across the region.

“We’re proud to uphold our commitment to the agriculture industry and the development of the next generation of agriculturalists through our multiple donations and volunteer initiatives throughout the region,” added Kahler. “As the fourth-largest ag lender in the U.S., FNBO truly enjoys contributing to the future of our farming and ranching communities through FFA.”

In Lincoln, FNBO is continuing to sponsor the Nebraska FFA Launch! Program for the seventh year with a $12,000 donation. The funds will support the year-long program that serves as a catalyst in entrepreneurship-based education for Nebraska FFA members and agricultural education students.

The bank is also donating $24,500 to local FFA chapters in Nebraska, Illinois, South Dakota and Wyoming and $2,500 to the Colorado FFA Foundation. In addition, FNBO Agribusiness Lenders volunteer at FFA chapters in their communities to provide agribusiness education to over 1,000 students.

Since 2016, FNBO has donated more than $207,000 to 60 FFA chapters throughout the bank’s footprint. Learn about FNBO’s agricultural banking at fnbo.com/agribusiness.
