HBAL Announces Winners of “If I Could Build a House” Art Contest

The Home Builders Association of Lincoln (HBAL) (www.hbal.org) recently held its If I Could Build a House art contest in cooperation with Lincoln Public Schools. Children were asked to draw pictures of their dream homes. The children also wrote narratives to describe the homes. The entries were sent to HBAL for judging. Twelve individual winning entries were chosen and received $50 checks from HBAL. Entries were displayed at the 47th Annual Home & Garden Show, held February 8–10 at the Lancaster Event Center.

The following are the 12 winners: Jon Moeller, Rousseau Elementary; Odessa Wilson, Rousseau Elementary; Haruka Yanagisawa, Rousseau Elementary; William Quick, Pershing Elementary; Katelyn Pischel, Randolph Elementary; Kalina Kalita, Randolph Elementary; Ryleigh Murrell, Randolph Elementary; Alexis Young, Randolph Elementary; Olivia Burns, Randolph Elementary; Saida Maaske, Randolph Elementary; Patrice Stammer, Arnold Elementary; Caydan Reed, Arnold Elementary.

Judges were Connie Strohmyer , CS Kitchen & Bath Studio; Vicki Christo, Christo Design Build; Delrae Hirschman, Delrae Designs; Kristin Donnelly, Reynolds Design & Remodeling; Roger Reynolds, Woods Bros. Realty; and Andrea Wilkins, HBAL.
