HBAL Young Building Professionals Raise Funds for Lincoln Lighthouse

The Young Building Professionals (YBP) Council of the Home Builders Association of Lincoln (HBAL; www.hbal.org ) had to cancel its annual Light the Way 5K fundraiser, but that didn’t stop them from raising $900 for the Lincoln Lighthouse after-school program. That’s thanks to the generosity of Light the Way sponsors, who allowed YBP to redirect their sponsorship dollars directly to its project, after COVID-19 health measures eliminated the 5K fundraiser.

On June 23, the HBAL’s YBP Council officially made the donation to Lincoln Lighthouse to support its mission to offer academic support, evening meals, and enrichment and recreational activities during non-school hours for middle- and high-school youth. The sponsors making the donation possible included Action Plumbing & Heating, Inc., ALLO Communications, Complete Inspection Services, and Woods Bros. Realty / Reynolds Group Real Estate Professionals.
