Lied Center Announces Upcoming Performances

November at the Lied Center for Performing Arts (LiedCenter.org) kicks off with The Tony Award®-winning Best Musical, Monty Python’s Spamalot on November 2-3. This outrageous musical comedy is lovingly ripped off from the film classic Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Next, The TEN Tenors make their Lied Center debut on November 5, featuring a celebration of musical legends lost before their time, including Prince, David Bowie, John Lennon, and more. Australia’s “Vocal wonder from down under” will take you on a journey from classic rock anthems to top-40s hits to the soaring arias of Verdi! Wrapping up November on the 13th, Gabriela Montero, who has garnered critical acclaim and a devoted following on the world stage for her visionary interpretations, will feature works by Mozart and Beethoven, as well as her own improvisations, in her premiere at the Lied.

Once your Thanksgiving break is over, start readying yourself for the packed schedule in December, which includes The Book of Mormon (December 11-16), Harry Connick, Jr. (December 18), and two Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis performances (matinee and evening on December 20).
