Lincoln Chamber Celebrates New Downtown Apartments, The Stack Lofts

On April 4, the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome The Stack Lofts (www.stacklofts.com) to the downtown Lincoln apartment scene. Owners Matt and Jane Stricker announced plans in 2016 for a $4 million redevelopment of the building into first-floor retail space and apartments on the upper floors of the former Swanson Russell headquarters at 1222 P St. This building sits right across the street from the couple’s other business ventures, Footloose & Fancy and Threads.

The apartment units at The Stack Lofts are modern with wood floors, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, high ceilings, and exposed brick on some of the walls. Some units also have balconies. On the first floor of the building is 3,900-square-feet of retail space and the upper floors contain 27 apartment units—three two-bedroom units, 20 one-bedroom units, and four studios.
