As of June 1, Melichar’s 66 Sales and Service (melichar66.com) now operates from Parkway 66 at 4749 Normal Blvd. To combine both businesses, they moved from their downtown Lincoln location. Both businesses retained their employees, adding each other’s to create a larger team to ensure that long-time customers from both locations will always see a familiar face. Melichar’s 66 served downtown Lincoln for 53 years and three generations, and are looking forward to continue that tradition at their new location.
Melichar’s 66 has purchased some of the latest automotive maintenance service equipment in order to better serve customers’ needs, and expanded their ability to work on most foreign and domestic vehicles. Their services will include computer diagnostic repair, suspension and brake service and tire installation.
