The Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry has made 2026 the year to Go Big in shaping Nebraska’s future, with a yearlong series of forums using research, data and collaborative conversations to focus on economic growth.
The fourth of nine events is May 20 at the Scott Conference Center in Omaha, with the topic “Tech, Talent and Transformation.” Anyone interested in participating can register by May 13 at gobigfuture.com.
The Go Big Future series is convened by the NE Chamber Foundation, with national and statewide voices defining economic drivers and ideas; dialogue and learning among stakeholders through networking and hands-on sessions, tours and demonstrations; and actionable insights presented from new research.
The Tech, Talent & Transformation event on May 20 challenges Nebraska as a growing force in the global technology economy through dynamic presentations, immersive exhibits, and networking opportunities. Nebraska’s technology sector investments support economic and workforce growth and drive community success. Attendees will discuss Nebraska’s competitive advantage through aligning major technology investments with workforce development and talent recruitment.
“Topics on the horizon for the Go Big Future series are Ag Tech and Automation in September, and Nebraska’s Human Advantage in October. In between we have focused sessions with state senators and an out-state forum in Kearney, culminating with a Defining the Future forum in November. There’s so much planned, and we need everyone’s engagement and their help executing,” Williams said.
