Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Marks Completion of Square at Forty-Eight

A community event was held to celebrate the completion of Square at Forty-Eight (www.square48.com), a new development along N. 48th & Holdrege Streets, on November 7th. The occasion was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony conducted by officials with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. Featuring 20,000 sq. ft. of commercial space on the main level and apartments above, both options are now available for lease. 48th Street Investments, LLC is the developer of the north Lincoln property, which is a good anchor development near UNL East Campus and Wesleyan University and will help revitalize the area.

Comprised of six partners from Minneapolis, MN and Lincoln, NE, 48th Street Investments, LLC established plans for the project in October of 2015 and later broke ground on August 24, 2016. Studio 951 served as the architect and Sampson Construction as the general contractor.

Square at Forty-Eight features studio, one and two bedroom apartments ranging in size from 548-1,167 sq. ft. Amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, 5th-floor outdoor living lounge, community club room with fireplace, secured bike storage, luxury vinyl wood plank floors in every unit, and so much more! On the main level, there are nine mixed-use retail bays of which two have been dedicated as restaurant space and one for a coffee shop. The units all include electrical panels and range from 1,304-9,054 sq. ft.
