September brings the first signs of fall, football games, leaves turning vibrant colors, back-to-school and for SP Group, P.C. (www.spgrouppc.com), it’s the perfect time to begin recruiting at local college campuses for their next intern team.
Their September activities kicked off with Erica Vossler, CPA, and Kim Miller, Intern Director, attending Employer In Residence and Meet The Firms at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Next, Rachel Clymer, CPA, and Miller attended Meet the Firms at Nebraska Wesleyan University followed by Austin Zimmerman, CPA, and Miller taking part in UNL’s BSAD 333 Practice Interview Week. And finally, Vossler and Miller wrapped up the month of activities with UNL’s Bowling With the Firms.
It was a successful month with numerous opportunities to visit with the future accounting work force. One takeaway, this new group of soon-to-be accountants will successfully lead the charge.
