Tredz Central Opens Second Location on West O Street, Expanding Family-Owned Tire Business.

What started in 2008 as a small tire shop has grown into a 50,000-square foot family-run business. Tredz Central (tredzcentral.com), owned by Ron & Lisa Preston, opened its second location on West O Street in Lincoln in August, with a grand opening set for Sept. 24.

Blake Preston, Executive Vice President overseeing operations, is recognized as a September Star City 6 member. His leadership has guided Tredz Central’s continued growth.

The new location adds automotive service and alignments, giving Tredz Central added capacity to serve Lincoln and the surrounding area. The shop offers tires for passenger, light truck, lawn and garden, ATV, commercial, agricultural, OTR applications and rubber tracks.

Store Manager Ryan Lile brings 21 years of industry experience.

“What genuinely sets us apart is the people. Every customer gets quality work and a team that genuinely cares about getting it right,” Lile said.

Vern Helt, with 25 years in the tire industry, joins Lile at the new location.

The Lincoln shop is equipped with the Hunter Hawkeye Elite alignment machine and Hunter Road Force tire balancer — two of the most advanced machines in the industry.

The public is invited to the grand opening on Sept. 24, at 1802 West O Street, Lincoln, NE, from 2 to 7 p.m., featuring refreshments and appetizers.
