Union Bank & Trust (www.ubt.com) recently introduced its new, updated logo.  The refreshed logo reflects a more modern look and style.  The most significant changes from the prior logo are changing the icon “UB” to “UBT” and not including the word “Company”.

Bank research found that many people were referring to the bank as “UBT” and rarely, if ever, was it called the full formal name of “Union Bank & Trust Company”.  The logo was last updated nearly thirty years ago, in 1986.  It was time to refresh.

“We’ve updated our logo to reflect our more modern approach to banking,” explained Angie Muhleisen, President & CEO.  “More important is what is not changing.  We have the same ownership, management and employees, and there is no change in our commitment to putting customer needs first.”

The logo change does not impact products and services currently used by customers. It was gradually adopted over the past month, including updating the signs on all Union Bank buildings.  Additional information on the new logo can be found at ubt.com/logo.

Union Bank & Trust (www.ubt.com) is a privately owned, Nebraska bank that offers complete banking, lending, investment and trust services. The bank has thirty-nine full service and loan production offices in Nebraska and Kansas.
