West Gate Bank Donates $25K to Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln

West Gate Bank (westgate.bank) and Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln (www.lincolnhabitat.org) are partnering together to build a decent and affordable home for future Habitat homeowners Khasro, Ginar and their four children. West Gate Bank is the $25,000 Silver Sponsor on an upcoming Habitat build to begin Thursday, July 12, 2018. Both organizations are celebrating milestones in the community; West Gate Bank is celebrating 50 years and Habitat Lincoln is celebrating 30 years.

“As a community bank, we understand that providing affordable housing is crucial to the continued growth of Lincoln,” said Carl Sjulin, president of West Gate Bank. “In recognizing the work that Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln is doing, we are honored to partner with them for this build.”

The Habitat home sponsored by West Gate Bank will kick-off on Thursday, July 12 with a special wall raising ceremony to include bank customers, employees and board members, joined by Khasro and Ginar. The build will continue over the next four months as the two organizations work together in building homes, communities and hope.
