Fresh Start (FreshStartHome.org) is pleased to announce that Angie Taylor has joined the team as Development and Volunteer Coordinator. In this role, Ms. Taylor collaborates closely with Executive Director Monica Zinke to craft strategies related to donor stewardship, community outreach and engagement and event planning.

Ms. Taylor brings a background in nonprofit work, training and stakeholder engagement, along with strong organizational and communication skills. She was drawn to Fresh Start as a place where she could also pursue her passion for making our community a better place.

“To me, Fresh Start is a place and a life philosophy: who among us doesn’t seek ways to improve our lives, and affect and bless others along the way? There is no more meaningful work than taking care of each other, and Fresh Start is where all of that, and more, happens, for both our residents and our support teams,” shared Ms. Taylor.

Fresh Start also welcomes new program support staff members Jessie Danaher, Cindie Farnsworth, and Lisa Bennett.

Fresh Start is a residential program for women experiencing homelessness. Participants may live in the home for up to one year, during which time they develop an individualized goal plan and actively work toward goals related to employment, housing and health, among others.
