Husker Rehab prides itself on keeping ahead of the curve with innovative physical therapy techniques. With this mind, Husker Rehab would like to announce arrival of the Graston™Technique to their clinic.

Used by physical therapists, hand therapists, and athletic trainers, the stainless steel instruments comb over and “catch” on fibrotic tissue, which immediately identifies areas of restriction. The instruments enable clinicians to treat soft tissue lesions with the depth, pressure and specificity necessary to affect the condition at the site of the pain, as well as following the kinetic chain to find and treat the cause.

“With our understanding of fascial restrictions, and our treatment of them in a holistic manner, this will be a wonderful addition to our clinical skills,” states Michael Zalman, co-owner of Husker Rehab.  “We already have Doctors referring to us asking for the technique because their clients have reported the outstanding benefits they have achieved when compared with just traditional massage work alone.”

The implementation of the Graston™ Technique was not the only success this month. Husker Rehab would also like to thank all of the physicians who attended the Physical Therapy Month Celebration luncheon in October along with a special thanks to everyone who contributed to the Matt Talbot food collection.
