JetSplash’s Haunted Tunnel Raises Over $10K for Lincoln Nonprofits

In October, JetSplash Car Wash (jetsplash.com) presented their annual Haunted Tunnel and raised over $10,000 in donations for four local nonprofits: Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach, People’s City Mission Lincoln, Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln, and Lincoln Police Union’s Santa Cop. Over the span of four nights, their drive-thru haunted car wash left families with a few screams, a few scared-laughs, some goodies, and a super clean car at the end.

For a $15 donation, attendees received their $20 car wash, complete with a hand-prep, hand-dry, bug-free guarantee, underbody spray, rain repellent, hot wax, rim cleaner, tire shine, total body protectant, and mud blasters. Even during a nonstop rainstorm the first night of the event, 49 cars still made it out to enjoy the experience and raise some money for charity. In total, approximately 690 cars visited the Haunted Tunnel, and $2,701.25 was donated to each of the four nonprofits.
