In 2022, The Junior League of Lincoln (JLL) served a record number of kids and families in Lincoln through the JLL Diaper Bank, ClothesLine, and HomeStart projects, while also training and developing the potential of its members.

Since its inception in 2020, the JLL Diaper Bank has distributed well over 300,000 diapers to families. This year Diaper Bank will partner with Lincoln Littles to help keep kids in care and parents at work. The ClothesLine program helps to provide free clothing to youth in LPS middle and high schools. League members collect clothing and facilitate distribution to participating schools. JLL served a total of 11 schools in Lincoln throughout 2022.

The Junior League of Lincoln provides home goods for young adults transitioning out of foster care to independent living. League members create kits (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and cleaning) that are dropped off at the HUB for youth as they are needed. The JLL’s commitment to the HomeStart project is an integral part of connecting young adults to the items that make their first places to live more than just an apartment, but truly home. Last year, JLL provided over 60 complete kits to The HUB.

The Junior League of Lincoln is committed to using their resources to provide for the growing and ever-changing needs of the community. To contact JLL, email juniorleagueoflincoln@gmail.com.
