Kinkaider Brewing Co. (kinkaider.com) has expanded their footprint in innovative ways since opening their first Lincoln taproom in 2018. Kinkaider Brewing’s sister company and distillery arm, Sideshow Spirits, recently celebrated the completed renovations of their newly designed space. While Sideshow was originally intended to be the speak-easy-style backroom of Kinkaider Brewing’s 80s/90s bar concept, Boombox Social, the popularity of the distillery warranted a significant expansion that essentially swallowed up Boombox. Now, all 11,000 square feet of the establishment are dedicated to Sideshow Spirits, featuring a tasting bar and showroom with bottles and merch on display, a private bar that can be reserved for events, and meeting room space, in addition to the existing cocktail bar and spacious outdoor patio accessed on the east side of the building.

Kinkaider’s next exciting development was announced on July 1: Bierhaus Maisschäler. This new bar concept is an old-world-inspired pub with a modern touch, featuring German-style lagers, cocktails, butcher built sausages, and pretzels. Bierhaus Maisschäler is located in the former Scooter’s Coffee space at 151 N 8th St. The German beer house celebrated their opening weekend on September 16-17 with big crowds circulating the Haymarket from the Husker’s third home football game.

Kinkaider Brewing Co. is a farm craft brewery, originating in the beautiful sandhills of Broken Bow, NE.
