Recently named chief operating officer, Kerry Kernen, MPA, MSN, RN will provide the day-to-day leadership at Health 360 Clinic, a partnership of Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska (www.lfsneb.org) and People’s Health Center of Lincoln (www.phclincoln.org). Kernen is also the LFS regional administrator for Behavioral Health for Southeast Nebraska, and her tremendous depth of experience in medicine, administration and public health will well serve consumers and providers at Health 360.

A native of Omaha, Kernen is licensed as a registered nurse and worked for Summit County (Ohio) Public Health since 1999 as the assistant director and chief nursing officer of the Community Health Division. Most recently, she provided oversight in the development of the Summit County Public Health Care Coordination Unit, advancing the Million Hearts initiative through public health/provider partnerships and assisted with building the foundation of the Adult Protective Services-Care Coordination community model.

Kernen graduated from Midland Lutheran College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and from Kent State University with both a master’s in public administration and a Master of Science in Nursing.
