Lincoln Running Co. Moves Classes from YMCA to Downtown Store, Reduces Class Size

In order to make their public meetings safer in 2021, the Lincoln Running Co. (lincrunningcompany.com) has moved its usual classes from the downtown YMCA to their store on 1213 Q St. Instead of everyone gathering together for one night, the classes will instead be spread over three nights with a maximum capacity of 25 people on each evening. Don’t worry—the material hasn’t changed! The class sizes are now simply smaller and take place in accordance with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department’s regulations. The speakers will attend classes virtually and the nightly runs will be spread out to make meeting together safer for everyone.

The classes will start on Monday, January 18, at 6 p.m. Each week, the Lincoln Running Co. will host a No Drop Run class on Monday for runners of all levels, an Intermediate class on Wednesday for experienced runners, and an Advanced class on Thursdays for highly-experienced, quick runners who want to challenge themselves. All classes will begin a staggered long-run on Saturdays at 7 a.m. The Lincoln Running Co. asks that all runners keep up with ongoing communication, as meetings will be flexible in accordance with any new health regulations or pandemic changes that might come up this year.
