Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center Presents Sunset Yoga Series

The last three Wednesday evenings in July will be dedicated to yoga, relaxation, and serenity at Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center (SCPAC; springcreek.audubon.org), located at 11700 SW. 100th St. in Denton. Brianne Bayer, member of the SCPAC Stewardship Board and certified RYT200 yoga instructor, will be leading sessions starting at 7:30 p.m. on July 17, 24, and 31. She will guide all participants through an all-levels yoga flow, deepening their connection to mind, body, and soul in the serenity of the prairie. Participants should bring their own yoga mat, a water bottle, and wear comfortable clothes.

This is a donation-based class (suggested donation is $10/evening or $20/series) with all proceeds benefiting Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center’s conservation and education programming. Preregistration by email is requested but not required.

The best part of these sessions, Bayer explains, is the setting. “It does not get more gorgeous than Spring Creek Prairie,” she said. “Being outside in nature is so wonderful, for our body and our mind.” Another aspect that Bayer wants people to know is that the sessions are open to everyone, experience is not needed. “I just want them to come out and experience the prairie in a way they haven’t before while having a great time,” said Bayer.
