Lincoln Federal Savings Bank Brings on Trent Meyer, Promotes Derek Wiedenfeld

Lincoln Federal Savings Bank (lincolnfed.com) is pleased to introduce Trent Meyer as senior vice president – chief financial officer and announce the promotion of Derek Wiedenfeld to commercial real estate loan officer.

Meyer comes to Lincoln Federal Savings Bank with adept financial management experience. He attended Washburn University where he graduated with degrees in both finance and accounting. Meyer later obtained a master’s degree in business administration and attended the Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, CO. Prior to joining the team at Lincoln Federal Savings Bank, he worked at Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka for seven years. In his new role Trent will oversee accounting functions, perform interest rate risk modeling, and manage the bank’s call report.

Wiedenfeld has worked at Lincoln Federal Savings Bank for five years as a teller and later as a credit analyst. This experience, paired with his degree in business administration, has contributed to his natural promotion to commercial real estate loan officer. In this role he will connect with the Lincoln community and help his customers achieve their commercial real estate dreams. Derek is a dedicated member of the community and leads the charge when it comes to getting his fellow employees involved with organizations like Friendship Home by organizing volunteer events.
