The Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development (LPED) (selectlincoln.org) is proud to announce that Luke Peltz, Vice President of Economic Development, has been named one of North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers for 2026 by Consultant Connect.

The annual recognition honors outstanding economic development professionals who are nominated by peers in both the economic development and site consulting industries. Recipients are selected based on exemplary leadership, innovative strategies and measurable impact in helping communities grow and thrive.

“Luke is tireless in his commitment to grow Lincoln’s economy and create economic opportunity for all residents,” said Jason Ball, President and CEO of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development. “His leadership in business recruitment, business expansion, talent retention and entrepreneurship programs, has made Lincoln a better, more vibrant community. This recognition is incredibly well deserved.”

Peltz currently serves as vice president of the Nebraska Economic Developer’s Association (NEDA). His efforts helped secure two Gold Excellence in Economic Development Awards from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), three consecutive Governor’s Cups for most business development projects per capita and back-to-back Silver Shovel awards for investment and development projects.

The 2026 honorees will be formally recognized during Consultant Connect’s ECONOMIX event, taking place this November in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
