The fall season begins with the Lincoln Corporate Games on Aug. 8 and the Omaha Corporate Games on Aug. 12. Running through October, the Corporate Games bring local businesses together to compete in a variety of athletic and recreational events while promoting teamwork, employee wellness and company pride. Hundreds of employees from companies across eastern Nebraska will participate in events ranging from volleyball and pickleball to trivia and cornhole.

The action continues Aug. 28-30 with the 402 Bash Men’s Slowpitch Softball Tournament at the Sandhills Global Youth Complex in Lincoln. Teams from across the region will compete on the complex’s all-turf fields during three days of competition.

Families can then lace up their running shoes for the Pumpkin Run on Sept. 27 in Lincoln’s Railyard. The youth one-mile fun run encourages healthy habits while providing a fun and memorable experience for children of all ages.

The fall lineup concludes Nov. 14-15 with the Heartland Havoc Wrestling Tournament at the Sandhills Global Event Center in Lincoln. Wrestlers of all ages and skill levels will compete in one of Nebraska’s premier preseason wrestling events, attracting athletes from across the Midwest for two days of competition.
