At the David Staenberg Family Foundation (davidstaenbergfamilyfoundation.org), impact is measured in lives changed and futures unlocked. This year, the foundation proudly continues its mission by sending three dyslexic students to college—two from Omaha and one from Lincoln—helping open doors that once felt out of reach.

Beyond education, the foundation remains deeply committed to supporting veterans. Each month, between 150 and 200 food pantries are distributed through partnerships with local organizations like the Vet Center, VA Clinic, Victory Park and SSVF. The goal is simple but powerful: offer a hand up, not a handout.

Looking ahead, August brings a unique challenge—climbing the nearly 3,000 steps in Manitou Incline. Supporters can “purchase steps,” with proceeds funding financial literacy programs designed to create lasting change for years to come.

The momentum continues through October’s Dyslexia Awareness Month and November’s Veterans Month, alongside the launch of a new online store featuring apparel that proudly supports the foundation’s mission.

None of this would be possible without an incredible board, dedicated partners and a community that shows up time and again. After 16 years, the vision is becoming reality—and the journey is just getting started. Join the newsletter, stay connected and as always, remember: smile and pass it on.
