A Novel Idea Bookstore Supports Community Action Head Start Through Children’s Literacy

Community Action Head Start (www.communityactionatwork.org) has partnered with A Novel Idea Bookstore to celebrate children’s literacy this spring. As part of their Spring Thank You Tuesdays program, A Novel Idea Bookstore is donating a percentage of its Tuesday sales between March and May to Community Action Head Start. Funds raised will support the program’s ability to provide the highest quality services possible to children and families served.

Putting the extra “fun” in “fundraising,” A Novel Idea Bookstore will also produce a limited quantity of hand-assembled flip-books inspired by popular recurring “Where’s Charlie?” posts on their social media. Customers will be invited to purchase these fun, one-of-a-kind books, with all proceeds benefitting Community Action Head Start.

“Where’s Charlie?” books will go on sale during Children’s Book Week (May 5-9) at A Novel Idea Bookstore on 118 N 14th St. A Novel Idea Bookstore will be open for business, but closed to walk-in traffic until further notice. Information about how to shop can be found at www.anovelideabookstore.com or by calling (402) 475-8663.
