The Bridge Behavioral Health’s (thebridgenebraska.org) first annual donation drive, Socks, Soap & Hope comes to an end – raising over $1,500 and more than 2,200 items. With many thanks to the community, 750 individuals will benefit from the donations collected. The Bridge sends a special thank you to John Henry’s Plumbing and Fellowship Community Church for hosting donation drives in support of Socks, Soap & Hope.

In a typical year, 1,100 individuals will access services at The Bridge and most of whom have no insurance or are eligible for Medicaid. Whether they seeking withdrawal services, respite or residential treatment, The Bridge provides them with the necessities to ensure a dignified and comfortable stay. Some of the most requested items are socks and personal hygiene products. It’s not too late to support Socks, Soap & Hope. Donations can be dropped off 24/7 at 721 K St, Lincoln, NE 68508. The Bridge is kindly requesting for new/unused socks or travel-size hygiene products.

Since 1984, The Bridge has served people struggling with substance use and mental health disorders. Their programs include detoxification and medically monitored withdrawal, substance use and mental health respite, residential treatment and outpatient services.
