After a seven-year hiatus, CASA for Lancaster County (www.casa4lancaster.org) is excited to hold the Donut Dash again this year on Saturday, September 24. The Donut Dash is a one-of-a-kind fun run fundraiser that includes a one-mile run, one dozen donuts, and another one-mile run. This year’s race will take place at Mahoney City Park at 70th and Fremont St. The race check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. and the race will start at 9:30 a.m. Early registration is $40 and day-of registration is $50. Participants will get a t-shirt and the donuts are donated from Russ’s Market and Super Saver. There will be prizes for the winner along with a Best Costume Prize.

CASA for Lancaster County’s goal is to raise $6,000 through this event to support their advocacy services for abused and neglected in children in Lancaster County! CASA volunteers get to know the children, their situation, and then write reports that go directly to the juvenile court judge sharing their observations and recommendations for next steps.
