CEF of Nebraska Offers the Good News Club®

Are the current changes within the public school system concerning you? It should, and Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) of Nebraska (www.cefnebraska.org) is here to provide an alternative voice of reason and truth through the after-school Good News Club (GNC) for elementary students.

The Good News Club is a dynamic Bible club held right where the children are—in churches, neighborhood homes, community centers, apartment complexes, local public elementary schools—just about anywhere the children can easily and safely meet with their parent’s permission. These action-packed clubs meet once a week right after school. Each club features snacks, prizes, songs, an exciting Bible lesson, a missions story, review games, or other activities. They are led by trained Christian teenagers and adults.

In 2011, the Supreme Court ruled that the Good News Club should be permitted to offer prayer and Bible reading to students. Since then, GNCs have been held in over 3,500 public elementary schools throughout the USA. Currently, eight GNCs are being held in Lincoln, all in public elementary schools with over 250 children attending!

Volunteers and financial partners are always needed, not only for existing GNCs, but also for beginning and new GNCs. To help make an eternal difference, contact Jonathan Musgrave with Child Evangelism Fellowship at (402) 484-7877 / office@ceflincoln.org. Learn more online at www.cefnebraska.org.
