Community Action in Need of Toy Donations for Holiday Giving Season
No matter what gatherings look like this holiday season, it remains a time for giving—and for giving back, which is why the Community Action (www.communityactionatwork.org) is seeking donations of toys for the families it serves. As many in our community continue to feel the economic effects of this pandemic, needs have increased dramatically. One way to provide support to families who are struggling is to donate a new, unwrapped toy to Community Action.
“Donations of new, unwrapped toys mean so much to those we serve,” says Community Action Executive Director Vi See. “For many of those we serve, buying gifts during the holidays is challenging, especially for families with more than one child. We invite community members to help us in ensuring all children and families in our community have a happy holiday season.”
Recognizing donors’ desire to physically distance, Community Action has created a holiday gifts wish list for online orders. Donors can purchase items off the list and ship directly to Community Action. The list, along with more information about how to support Community Action throughout the holiday season, is available at communityactionatwork.org.
