The David Staenberg Family Foundation (davidstaenbergfamilyfoundation.org) is reflecting on a year of growth and renewed commitment to serving veterans and dyslexic youth. In 2025, the foundation expanded direct services, strengthened partnerships, and increased access to essential resources thanks to community support.

Over the past year, the foundation served more than 600 meals at Victory Park, offering nourishment and connection for local veterans. It also delivered 62 financial literacy courses through the Vet Center, led by instructor Ken Coleson and based on Dave Ramsey’s curriculum, equipping veterans with financial skills. Through partnerships with the Veterans Clinic, Vet Center, Victory Park, and Supportive Services for Veterans, the foundation distributed food, blankets, sleeping bags, 400 hygiene kits, and 80 first aid kits, reaching more than 1,000 veterans. The foundation also strengthened collaboration with local nonprofits—including Atlas, Loaves and Fishes, Orphan Grain Train, Matt Talbot, and Connection Point—broadening its reach through shared service initiatives.

In support of dyslexic youth, the foundation awarded three higher education scholarships, with the program expanding to six annual scholarships, doubling its long-term educational impact. Additional milestones included launching a new website, enhancing monthly newsletters, and developing sponsorship packages designed for engagement.
