Fresh Start Extends Hours of The Daisy

Thanks to Fresh Start’s (FreshStartHome.org) amazing volunteers, The Daisy thrift store is now open every Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. instead of every other Thursday! The Daisy will continue to be open every Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Daisy is operated completely by volunteers. Along with bringing in new helpful and knowledgeable volunteers, The Daisy raised over $41,000 in 2018 for Fresh Start. This amount was raised even though The Daisy was only open 12 hours a week at the time, so with extended hours, Fresh Start is excited to generate even more funds to go towards their mission. Proceeds from The Daisy support Fresh Start, a goal-orientated program helping women who are experiencing homelessness to overcome barriers to economic stability. Fresh Start provides basic needs, case management, and support.

Fresh Start is always looking for more volunteers to join their team and they invite the community to come have a positive experience shopping high-quality clothing at discounted prices.
