The 4th annual Project Funway benefit will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Courtside Banquet Hall (710 Hill). Doors open at 6:30 PM.
Project Funway features a runway show of original clothing designs that have been created by UNL students and local designers. A panel of judges, and event attendees, will select the winners of the competition. The event also will include a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres and desserts. Featured auction items include a timeshare in Colorado over Christmas, one Las Vegas in January, a pair of diamond earrings, and more. The Daisy Thrift Shop will have a booth. Local shops will informally model outfits during the social hour before the runway show. This year’s host is Melissa Lewis.

All proceeds will benefit Fresh Start, a transitional shelter that empowers homeless women to change their lives by recognizing and utilizing their strengths to overcome barriers to self-sufficiency.
