Fresh Start Presents First Annual Spring Fling Picnic Event on May 30

Fresh Start (www.FreshStartHome.org) will host their first annual Spring Fling picnic event on Saturday, May 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Robinette Farms, 17675 SW 14th St., in Martell.

Feeling cooped up? Then set your alarm-clucks for a Fresh Start peck-nec at Robinette Farms and join them on the farm for a rubber chicken toss tournament, donkey pie bingo, a farm tour, terrible chicken joke contest, and other fun lawn games. This event will raise funds to support Fresh Start’s mission of empowering women who are experiencing homelessness to help them change their lives. The event includes a dinner prepared by Relish Catering featuring locally-grown produce from Robinette Farms. There will also be a celebrity team challenge with KX 96.9 and 10/11 News.

Tickets are $40 per person with an additional cost of $5 for participation in the chicken toss tournament. Teams of four are encouraged. Register by April 30 at www.FreshStartHome.org/events to receive early bird ticket price of $30.
