Friendship Home Presented with Outstanding Pandemic Response Award

Friendship Home (friendshiphome.org) was recognized with the Outstanding Pandemic Response Award during the Lincoln Homeless Coalition’s 21st Annual Hunger and Homelessness Recognition Event on November 20, 2020. During the event, awards were presented to organizations and individuals that undertake extraordinary efforts to help those experiencing homelessness, hunger, and poverty in the Lincoln area. Friendship Home is privileged to be one of the coordinated entry partners to be honored for their collaborative effort to help end homelessness, especially during COVID.

In addition to the group award, Friendship Home Case Manager Precious (last name withheld) was recognized individually for her dutiful hard work, creativity, and commitment to serving survivors of domestic violence and connecting them to safe, stable housing options. Friendship Home is thankful to the Lincoln Homeless Coalition for recognizing their team’s efforts in helping Lincoln and is honored to continue working for Lincoln’s underserved and homeless for years to come.
