Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln (LincolnHabitat.org) announces the official launch of their Repairs Program, a home critical repairs program for lower income homeowners in Lancaster County. Qualified applicants will be able to receive a zero-interest loan to pay for the cost of critical repairs for their homes. Critical repairs include leaky roofs, HVAC systems, water heaters and inadequate windows. Habitat will help coordinate the loan and the repair itself. Habitat plans on using a mix of subcontractors and volunteers to complete the repairs.

Homeowners need to qualify for the program which means that their income would need to fall between 30-80% of the area median income. They would need to live in the home that they own and agree to partner with Habitat on the project. Not all applicants will be approved for the program.
