The Home Builders Association of Lincoln (HBAL) (hbal.org) and the Lincoln Home Builders Care Foundation hosted their annual golf tournament on Friday, June 6, at Highlands Golf Course, welcoming 200 golfers to the event. This year’s tournament raised more than $12,600. The team from Lincoln Federal Savings Bank took home top honors with a winning score of 59.

The event was recently renamed the Nadine Condello Memorial Golf Tournament in honor of Nadine Condello, who served as Executive Vice President of HBAL from 1988 to 2011. Proceeds from the tournament funds scholarships for students pursuing education in the residential construction industry. Each year, at least five $1,800 scholarships are awarded in Nadine’s name to incoming students at Southeast Community College – Milford Campus who are enrolled in the Construction Pathway. The scholarship helps cover the cost of required tools for their coursework.

Since 2010, the foundation has distributed more than $425,000 through scholarships, industry-related educational programs, local charities and disaster relief efforts.
