HBAL’s Annual Golf Tournament to Benefit Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln

The Home Builders Association of Lincoln (HBAL; www.HBAL.org) and the Lincoln Home Builders Care Foundation will hold their annual golf tournament on Friday, June 7 at Highlands Golf Course. Approximately 250 golfers play in this event every year. This year’s tournament will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln.

“Since 1992, we’ve partnered with Habitat for Humanity to help build homes for local families. In 2017, we supported Habitat’s Build#150 by directing $10,000 from our annual golf tournament to the cause. This summer, we will build our 17th Habitat home for a single mom raising eight children and proceeds from this year’s tournament will go towards this project,” says Michaela Harrison, Executive Vice President of HBAL.

The Lincoln Home Builders Care Foundation was established in 2009 as a 501(c)(3) charitable, non-profit organization dedicated to the future of the home building industry in Lancaster County. The Lincoln Home Builders Care Foundation’s mission is to support the educational and charitable activities of the Home Builders Association of Lincoln. The Foundation strives to support the community by contributing to community service projects focused on housing, as well as providing scholarships for students pursuing a career related to the building industry and providing funding for other industry related educational programs.
