Heartland Cancer Foundation Announces Guest Speaker of Mardi Gras Casino Royale

Heartland Cancer Foundation (www.heartlandcancerfoundation.org) has announced that Miss Nebraska, Jessica Shultis, will be a guest speaker at their signature event, Mardi Gras Casino Royale (www.heartlandcancerfoundation.org/mardigras). The event will take place on Friday, March 1 at the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel from 6 to 9 p.m. The Heartland Cancer Foundation will also be recognizing outstanding work ethic within their volunteer guild membership. Highlights of the event, emceed by Dean Wysocki of Channel 8 KLKN-TV, will include Bourbon Street happy hour, a raffle, ballroom dinner, live auction, casino gaming, and after-party featuring the band, Thirty Minute Hangover.

There are tickets, tables, and corporate sponsorships available for purchase. Last year’s event raised $47,000 between the silent auction, sponsorships, and goodwill donations.
