Heartland Cancer Foundation Opens Legacy Giving Opportunities

Heartland Cancer Foundation (HCF; heartlandcancerfoundation.org) is happy to make public the opening of their Legacy Giving concept. Legacy Giving with HCF means leaving a gift to your community that will make a longstanding difference in the lives of local cancer patients. Legacy Gifts not only create tax incentives for you, but they ensure that all local lower-income cancer patients have access to HCF’s grants—The Heartland Grant, which provides assistance with transportation; and the Helping Hand Grant, which provides assistance with housing payments, car payments, and medical supplies.

“Legacy Giving with Heartland Cancer Foundation is simple, fully customizable to you, and you have complete control over what and how you give,” says Development Director Heidi Moyer. “Naming HCF as a beneficiary in your will with one sentence is only one way to leave a legacy gift. Memorials, life insurance, property, securities, charitable annuities, and charitable trusts are also options to consider when determining your planned giving, and no amount is too small to be of value.”

Heartland Cancer Foundation is passionate about supporting local lower income cancer patients. Their goal is to provide practical and immediate assistance so they can focus on healing. Helping to reduce financial burdens brings optimism and hope to a patient’s journey.
