Looking for a great family-friendly event to kick off your Summer? Head over to Antelope Park on May 31 for an evening of outdoor fun at “Hop, SCIP, Jump and Run,” benefiting School Community Intervention and Prevention (scipnebraska.com, SCIP).
This year’s event, which is brought to you by Complete Children’s Health and Family Health and Wellness Center, will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will feature a variety of booths and activities where kids can enter their names into a drawing for prizes donated by area businesses. There will also be a photo booth, sponsored by Nebraska Mental Health Centers.
Later, put on your running shoes for a one-mile Fun Run throughout the park. Thanks to generous sponsor support, participation in the Fun Run is Free again this year for those who pre-register. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers. Kids under age nine must be accompanied by an adult. In addition, B107.3 will be on site to emcee the event and Skymart Mobile will be selling their delicious fare.
